In 2023, Babolat will release the new Pure Aero Rafa racket cosmetic endorsed by Rafael Nadal. Rafa is already using the racket in practice and will be sporting the new cosmetic in the Australian Open. See about Rafa's other new gear here. The design features a more standard Babolat Pure Aero theme, reminiscent of the 2019 Pure Aero, but shifts into a striking Blue and Pink "cotton candy" colorway. Most notably, Babolat will be releasing a racket called the Pure Aero Rafa Origin. This is actually supposed to be in Rafa's specs, which will mean a much higher swingweight and heavier frame. It also expected to be in the original Aeropro Drive frame construction. It is expected to come in at 11.5 ounces unstrung. There will also be a lighter version available.
